The 42nd Annual Iowa PGA Junior Golf Academy will be held Sunday, June 12 through Thursday, June 16 at Pheasant Ridge GC and the University of Northern Iowa. The Academy is open to boys and girls 12-17 with a maximum capacity of 40 total students.
John Bermel, head PGA Professional at Pheasant Ridge GC and also the head coach for the men and women’s golf team at UNI, has been the lead instructor for the academy for over 25 years. He and his staff do an excellent job hosting this program. The Iowa PGA Junior Golf Academy also utilizes the men and women PGA Professionals of the Iowa Section as instructors for the students. Participants in the Junior Golf Academy receive:
--Four days intensive instruction from Iowa Section PGA professionals
--Evening recreation and educational programs
--Average teaching ratio one pro to four students

More details and complete schedule will be emailed late May. Drop off times at UNI on Sunday, June 12 will be between 3-4:30 p.m. Pick up on Thursday, June 16 will be approximately 1:30 p.m. at Pheasant Ridge.
