The 44th Girls Junior PGA Championship will be held at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City on June 29-30, 2019. The Boys Junior PGA Championship will be held at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo on July 1-12, 2019. This event is an AJGA Performance Base Event. Girls 16-18 division: Champion will earn 4 stars, Top 20% will earn 1 star.

Format:
9-hole stroke play each day for Girls 13 & Under
18-hole stroke play each day for all other divisions

Tee Assignments:
Girls 16-18: Iowa PGA Black/White Tee Markers set to 5600 (see tees in Bluegolf system)
All other girls: Finkbine Gray Tees

THIS EVENT WILL BE A PERFORMANCE BASED ENTRY EVENT FOR THE AJGA AND STARS WILL BE AWARDED TO WINNERS.

Each players should be checked in at the registration table and ready to go on the #1 tee 10 minutes prior to tee time.

Tee times and pairings for day 2 will be available after the completion of round 1 and will be emailed to players. Day 2 pairings will be based on round 1 scores.

RANGE FINDERS ARE ALLOWED, BUT MUST BE USED FOR MEASURING DISTANCE ONLY. PLAYERS WILL BE PENALIZED IF THEIR USE OF A RANGEFINDER IS FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN DISTANCE. THE FIRST USE OF A BANNED RANGEFINDER FUNCTION WILL RESULT IN TWO STROKE PENALTY, AND ANY SUBSEQUENT USE DURING THAT ROUND WILL RESULT IN THE PLAYER'S DISQUALIFICATION.

ALL OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES MUST BE TURNED OFF AND STOWED IN GOLF BAG AND ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING PLAY. SUCH DEVICES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO CELL PHONES, IPODS, ETC.

Refunds will only be given until June 25, 2019. There will be a $5 processing fee for cancellations in 9-hole divisions and a $10 processing fee for cancellations in 18-hole divisions. If you choose to cancel and accrue credit to your account, you may use these funds for a future tournament, during the current season. If funds are not used, they will be donated to the Iowa PGA Foundation - Burkart Scholarship.

The Iowa Girls Junior PGA Championship will be played at Finkbine Golf Course June 29-30, 2019.

This event is considered a PBE event with Stars awarded: Champion 4 Stars, Top other players 1-2 stars based on field.

Two girls in the 16-18 division from the Iowa Championship will advance on to the National 43rd Junior PGA Championship held at Keney Golf Park in Hartford, Connecticut.

Deadline for entry into the Iowa Girls Junior PGA Championship will be June 25, 2019 at 11:59pm. This will also be the last day for players to be able to receive a refund is a cancellation or withdraw is needed.
