The Junior Tour Mid Summer Classic is a Major Point Event on the Iowa Junior Tour. Both Tournament Club of Iowa and Otter Creek GC will play more difficult. This event is recommended for intermediate to advanced players.

Start Time Round 1:
8:00 a.m. Shotgun Start Tournament Club of Iowa

Start Time Round 2:
7:30 a.m. Tee Times off #1 & #10 at Otter Creek

Format:
18-hole stroke play each for all other divisions

Tee Assignments for Round 1 at Tournament Club of Iowa:
Boys 16-18 will play the PALMER Tees - Approximately 6551 yds.
Boys 14-15 will play the DEACON Tees - Approximately 6153 yds.
Girls 14-18 and Boys 12-13 will play the LEGEND Tees - Combo of Deacona nd Legend. Approximately 5483 yds.

Boys 16-18 will play the TAN Tees - Approximately 6895 yds.
Boys 12-15 will play the YELLOW Tees - Approximately 6141 yds.
All Girls will play the GREEN Tees - Approximately 5360 yds.

THIS EVENT WILL BE A PERFORMANCE BASED ENTRY EVENT FOR THE AJGA AND STARS WILL BE AWARDED TO WINNERS.

Lunch will be provided to players AFTER play both days. Please remember you can not play/practice on your round 2 course after round 1 begins. You will be disqualified.

RANGE FINDERS ARE ALLOWED, BUT MUST BE USED FOR MEASURING DISTANCE ONLY. PLAYERS WILL BE PENALIZED IF THEIR USE OF A RANGEFINDER IS FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN DISTANCE. THE FIRST USE OF A BANNED RANGEFINDER FUNCTION WILL RESULT IN TWO STROKE PENALTY, AND ANY SUBSEQUENT USE DURING THAT ROUND WILL RESULT IN THE PLAYER'S DISQUALIFICATION.

ALL OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES MUST BE TURNED OFF AND STOWED IN GOLF BAG AND ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING PLAY. SUCH DEVICES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO CELL PHONES, IPODS, ETC.

Refunds will only be given until July 14, 2016. There will be a $5 processing fee for cancellations in 9-hole divisions and a $10 processing fee for cancellations in 18-hole divisions. If you choose to cancel and accrue credit to your account, you may use these funds for a future tournament, during the current season. If funds are not used, they will be donated to the Iowa PGA Foundation - Burkart Scholarship.
