Woodland Hills Jr is in a 1 hour delay

The Woodland Hills Junior is a Birdie Point Event on the Iowa Junior Tour and part of the Partner Program for 2021. The Iowa PGA will process entries, prepare tee times/pairings and email tournament specifics to registrants. Woodland Hills GC staff Noble Burkhead and Tyler Ruba will administer all other aspects of the event on site.

Pee Wee Tour members are allowed to play in this event but will be transferred to either the Boys 11 & Under or Girls 13 & Under division and must abide by all Iowa Junior Tour rules and regulations. Caddies are not allowed.

Start Time: 8:00 a.m. tee times off #1 and #10

Format:
Boys 11 & Under and Girls 13 & Under will play 9-holes
All other divisions will play 18-holes

Tee Assignments:
Boys 12-18 will play the Black Tees
All Girls and Boys 11 & Under will play the White Tees

WOODLAND HILLS DOES NOT HAVE A RANGE!! THEY DO HAVE A CHIPPING/PITCHING GREEN AND A PRACTICE PUTTING GREEN. Other range options for pre-event warm up include Copper Creek, City Courses, Des Moines Driving Range or Otter Creek. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ALLOW ENOUGH TIME IF YOU CHOOSE TO MAKE A STOP AT ANOTHER FACILITY TO HIT WARM UP BALLS!

Players should always be checked in at the registration table and ready to go at least 10 minutes prior to their tee time on their designated tee box.

RANGE FINDERS ARE ALLOWED, BUT MUST BE USED FOR MEASURING DISTANCE ONLY. PLAYERS WILL BE PENALIZED IF THEIR USE OF A RANGEFINDER IS FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN DISTANCE. THE FIRST USE OF A BANNED RANGEFINDER FUNCTION WILL RESULT IN TWO STROKE PENALTY, AND ANY SUBSEQUENT USE DURING THAT ROUND WILL RESULT IN THE PLAYER'S DISQUALIFICATION.

ALL OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES MUST BE TURNED OFF AND STOWED IN GOLF BAG AND ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING PLAY. SUCH DEVICES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO CELL PHONES, IPODS, ETC.

Refunds will only be given until June 20, 2021. There will be a $5 processing fee for cancellations in 9-hole divisions and a $10 processing fee for cancellations in 18-hole divisions. If you choose to cancel and accrue credit to your account, you may use these funds for a future tournament, during the current season. If funds are not used, they will be donated to the Iowa PGA Foundation - Burkart Scholarship.
