The John Deere Classic Junior Open Championship will be held at TPC Deere Run on June 10-11. This will be a Major Point event on the Iowa Junior Tour. The Iowa PGA would like to thank The John Deere Classic and Clair Peterson for their support as title sponsor.
The John Deere Classic Junior is only open to Iowa PGA Junior Tour members until March 1, 2019. Non-Members who register before March 1, 2019 will be put on the waiting list.
**Reminder: TPC Deere Run is a very difficult golf course to play and walk. It is recommended that registrants for this event be intermediate to advanced golfers to eliminate slow play and to make it a fun event for all participants.**
Once PBE star information is received from AJGA, we'll attach to the TIP.
Start Time:
7:30 a.m. tee times off of #1 & #10 both days
Format:
18-hole stroke play each day
9 Hole Divisions and boys 12-13 event will be held on June 10-11 in the afternoon. A separate TIP has been created for the tournament. If you would like to register, please visit the John Deere Classic Junior Open - 13 and Under TIP (tournament info page).
Tee Assignments:
Boys 16-18: Blue Tees - Approximately 6600 yds.
Boys 14-15: White Tees - Approximately 6300 yds.
Girls 16-18: Gold/White Blend approximately 5600 yds.
Girls 14-15 will play Gold Tees - approximately 5200 yds.
Players should always be checked in at the registration table and ready to go on their tee 10 minutes prior to their tee times.

Spectator carts will be available on a limited basis and rented on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations will be available.

All division winners from this year's John Deere Classic Junior Open will be honored at the Wednesday Pro-Am on the first day at the 2019 John Deere Classic. What a great honor, thanks again to Clair Peterson and the John Deere Classic!
Entry fee includes lunch both days, range balls, tee gift and awards for top 3 in each division.
RANGE FINDERS ARE ALLOWED, BUT MUST BE USED FOR MEASURING DISTANCE ONLY. PLAYERS WILL BE PENALIZED IF THEIR USE OF A RANGEFINDER IS FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN DISTANCE. THE FIRST USE OF A BANNED RANGEFINDER FUNCTION WILL RESULT IN TWO STROKE PENALTY, AND ANY SUBSEQUENT USE DURING THAT ROUND WILL RESULT IN THE PLAYER'S DISQUALIFICATION.
ALL OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES MUST BE TURNED OFF AND STOWED IN GOLF BAG AND ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING PLAY. SUCH DEVICES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO CELL PHONES, IPODS, ETC.
Refunds will only be given until June 4, 2019. There will be a $5 processing fee for cancellations in 9-hole divisions and a $10 processing fee for cancellations in 18-hole divisions. If you choose to cancel and accrue credit to your account, you may use these funds for a future tournament, during the current season. If funds are not used, they will be donated to the Iowa PGA Foundation - Burkart Scholarship.
